Sterling Scott makes music as Sterfry, out of Nashville
He started putting things out in 2012 and never settled into one lane. The electronic side is bass music, mostly on Jadu Dala and Darker Than Wax, with a steady run of SoundCloud loosies in between. The jazz side is slower and weirder: instrumental, harmony-heavy, and out on Good Society and Radio Juicy. He plays saxophone and violin, and he produces everything himself.
He was one of the first artists on Jadu Dala, back when the label was still figuring out what it was. Winter, his collaboration with Josh Pan, became one of its biggest tracks. Diplo and Tipper have played his stuff, and Noisia pulled it onto their radio show more than once.
On the jazz end, Together landed on Good Society and got picked up by Spotify's editors. One writer called it Hiatus Kaiyote without the vocals. Shakedown came out on Radio Juicy in 2026, and a full album, Long Way Home, is next.
